Sometimes known as the Crossroads of the World, the Center of the Universe, the Heart of Broadway, and the Heart of the World, this is one of the worlds most visited tourist attractions, with roughly 50 million visitors a year.

Formerly known as Longacre Square, it was renamed in 1904 after The New York Times moved their headquarters to the then newly erected Times Building, now One Times Square.
