This former US Military installation is situated on the Narrows, which divide New York Bay into Upper and Lower halves. Prior to closing in 1994 it claimed the longest continually garrisoned military installation in the US.

As of late the tourist attraction has been rather quiet, though some whisper of ghosts from the days of the British Occupation of the Fort.
