This Urban Park, while only the fifth largest park in NYC, is without a doubt it's most famous. At 843 acres, the park was finished in 1876 and designed by Calvert Vaux and Frederick Law Olmsted (whom also designed the city of Buffalo). The Park is home to a diverse number of flora and fauna, and see's millions of visitors yearly, from both within the city and from outside as well.
In more recent years the park has also been home to a number of conspiracy theories of creatures living in it, as well as a number of crimes ranging from muggings, stabbings, and sexual assaults. It is Advised that nobody travel the park alone at night.
