Formerly the domain of Mari Ito, all that remains of this building is a burnt out chared husk of stone and foundation.
In a lonely part of an industrial section of Queens and overlooking the East River, a bluestone mansion has stood for over 150 years until it was recently burned down.
Built in the Gothic style popular at the time, its origins and owner have been shrouded in mystery for decade, and it has been abandoned even longer. It is surrounded by an old wall of crumbling brick and rusted metal, and obscured by the wildly growing trees and bushes surrounding it that had once formed a well-maintained garden. The mansion itself is a shadow of its former self, with heavy structural damage, and filled the rotting remains of furniture from past lives of old inhabitants.
